Men's Ministries: on the way
On the Way Ministries operates to advance the Christian religion by making disciples of Jesus Christ through biblically-based ministry, primarily focused on reaching men, for the purpose of intentionally strengthening Christian marriages and families. The organization connects men to God and to one another through experiential wilderness-based activities and intentional discipleship. We conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly expeditions (hiking, backpacking, camping, and wilderness retreats) designed to remove everyday distractions, foster authentic brotherhood, and create space for men to encounter God in His creation. These expeditions are paired with ongoing small-group discipleship cohorts that study Scripture, pursue holiness, practice prayer and confession, and equip men to lead spiritually in their homes, churches, and communities. Periodically, we organize mission trips that combine gospel proclamation, service to those in need, and further spiritual formation in challenging environments. These activities take approximately seventy-five percent of our resources and focus.
